How can I make it through this day,

When things keep going wrong?

No matter what I do or say,

The day is way to long.

 

I received peculiar looks

And I wanted to go home.

Then all at once it came to me

And I felt so alone.

 

I was in a hurry,

So I forgot to pray.

I didn’t ask the Lord for help,

And to use me on this day.

 

He’s always here to help us

In what we’re going through.

So don’t give up without a fight,

God won’t give up on you.

 

Life is full of surprises

In our lives from day to day.

All we can do is trust in God

To help us find the way.
